Positive: DEFINITELY recommend this place. Loved the location and Million pound view! We loved it and our dogs loved it. WiFi is good. The cottage is so close to many local places of interest - the ruins of Sinclair Girnigoe Castle, the Reiss Golf Course (if you fancy a round), the dunes on the beach are a good walk, Wick is minutes away by car, John O'Groats is almost shouting distance and if you want to take a day trip to Orkney - you've got a few choices of ferry! The drive from Thurso to Helmsdale is fabulous. There's definitely something for everyone. Alex is the best host and just the man to point you in the right direction of whatever the area (and more) has to offer - including where to get the best fish & chips!
